Newport to Bermuda

Every two years in mid-June, around 200 competitors cover a distance of about 635 nautical miles (1175kms) across open ocean from the historic seaport of Newport, Rhode Island to Bermuda.

For the 2012 edition, the race will start on June 15th.

Marion to Bermuda

Since its inception in 1977, the 645 mile biennial Marion Bermuda Race provides an opportunity for cruising yachts and amateur crews to participate in an ocean race that encourages the development of blue water sailing skills. The next race will start in June 2013 in Buzzards Bay off Marion, Massachusetts and finish off St. David's Head, Bermuda.

As a visitor or participant in the sporting event to Bermuda, you can conveniently get around the Island by renting scooters from any of our locations. We will have staff onsite at the RBYC or RHADC for your convenience. Have the duty desk call us or book ahead of time.
